How to choose men's clothing
By season
Autumn and winter: start with knitwear, zip-ups and a coat or jacket. Spring and summer: linen shirts, polos and shorts. Most trousers and loafers in the range work across both.
By occasion
For smart-casual days, pair a knit polo or half-zip with straight trousers and loafers. For warm-weather lunches, a linen shirt and drawstring trousers need nothing else. Watches and sunglasses finish either look.
By fabric
Titles state the material where it is known: pure wool, cashmere, linen, cotton, suede. Wool and cashmere for warmth, linen and cotton for heat. Where a title names a blend, the product page carries the detail; if you need the exact composition before ordering, email help@lervati.com with the product name.
By fit
Product titles name the cut — slim, tailored, relaxed, regular, oversized, wide-fit. Check the cut before the size: a relaxed cut in your usual size will sit looser than a tailored one in the same size.
Building a capsule from one season
Pick one knit, two tops and two bottoms in a shared palette of navy, beige, cream and black, then one pair of loafers and a watch. Because the colours in the range are quiet, each top works with each bottom, which is the point of buying from one edit rather than five shops.
Reading a product title
Lervati titles state the cut, the fabric and one defining detail: 'Pure Wool', 'Drawstring Waist', 'Ribbed Cuffs and Hem'. Colours and sizes are chosen on the product page. If a title says 'suede-look' or 'suede-touch', the piece is not suede.

Delivery to the UK, Germany, France and Spain is free by standard tracked service in 7 to 14 business days, and you have 30 days from receipt of your last item to tell us you want to return something.

How do I build a smart-casual outfit from a single order?
Take one knit polo or half-zip, one pair of straight trousers and one pair of loafers. Keep two of the three in the same colour family so the third reads as the accent. Our outfit sets are built on exactly this formula.
What is the difference between a half-zip jumper and a polo jumper?
A half-zip closes with a zip at the chest and has a stand collar; a polo jumper has a button placket and a folded collar. The half-zip is the sportier of the two; the polo jumper sits better under a jacket.
I'm between sizes in a tailored shirt and a relaxed overshirt. Do I size the same for both?
No. For the tailored-fit stretch cotton shirt, take the smaller size if you want it close to the body. For the relaxed-fit Tencel-blend overshirt, take your usual size: it is cut with room already built in.
Which pieces here are safe to wear in rain?
Smooth leather loafers and the trench coats handle showers; suede loafers and suede-look jackets do not, so keep those for dry days.
How long does delivery take, and can I return something that does not fit?
